Jacob who's born in Kenya moved to homeland India and started his association with food as early as 1977. He did his 3 year Hotel Management from one of the National Hotel Management Institutes of India and later joined the prestigious "Oberoi School of Hotel Management" recognised by the Paris Culinary School. Jacob moved to Sydney and joined the Intercontinental Hotel as a Senior Chef-de-Partie before venturing into business. Royal India his flagship restaurant has become one of Sydney's most loved Indian restaurants.
Shirley also has a Hotel Managment degree from Mumbai and has been very passionately involved in all their businesses. She has over 20 years of experience in the Hospitality Industry and the Education sector. She has an incredible commitment to see this industry grow and uses her skills and knowledge to train and coach others and is currently doing her doctoral studies in Management.
